Evacuation - mountaineering training
The aim of the mountaineering training on evacuation of persons working at heights is to familiarise the trainee with the basic safety rules when assisting colleagues. This training is delivered in accordance with the regulations contained in the Labour Code. You will be thoroughly trained on what to do in health and life-threatening situations when working at heights. Once you have completed the training and examination process, you will be certified to undertake work of a work at height nature.
Mountaineering courses - categories
Our training programme, in addition to the course on evacuating people at heights, includes several categories in this field. Among others:
- mountaineering work with linear access,
- mountaineering work with building access,
- mountaineering work with building access,
- with elements of linear access techniques,
- mountaineering work and the creation of belay points,
- mountaineering work and mountaineering training with linear access techniques,
- mountaineering work and training in evacuating people at heights,
- mountaineering work and training in evacuating people from confined spaces.
Exam
The training concludes with a competency-based examination, where trainees demonstrate their knowledge and skills to an examination board. The examination is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Upon successful completion of both tests, the committee recognises the application for a certificate allowing the trainees to work at heights.
Validity of allowances
An exam successfully completed gives students the opportunity to obtain a certificate for mountaineering qualifications. The validity of this document is 3 years from the date of issue. Powers must be renewed regularly by taking refresher courses.
Conditions to be met before training
Those wishing to undertake training for mountaineering qualifications must meet three basic eligibility requirements:
- must be of legal age,
- must have a medical certificate permitting work at height,
- must have at least a basic education.
