Our offer

We offer two types of courses for mobile cranes - operator and maintenance. The topics covered are significantly different, as are the exercises on the machine. Below is a detailed training programme.

Mobile crane operator training course

At the very beginning, our training staff give lectures during which the trainees acquire general knowledge about technical supervision and mobile cranes. We are committed to a professional approach to our students, which is why all classes are conducted by experienced specialists. During the theoretical part, topics such as:

crane on roadway
  • information on technical supervision,
  • General information about cranes and their division,
  • components and construction of cranes,
  • types of slings (rope, chain, etc.),
  • safe operation of cranes,
  • responsibilities as a mobile crane operator,
  • hazards and dangerous situations at the operator's workplace,
  • health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Participants then start practising on the machines specially equipped for this. They not only learn how to drive the mobile crane, but also which steps to take before and after work. All the activities performed by the trainees are supervised by experienced professionals, who point out any mistakes that are made and give suggestions on how to perform the task at hand.

Training to become a mobile crane maintenance technician

In the lectures, the trainers present a general knowledge of mobile cranes and their operation. They use multimedia presentations to help remember and assimilate the topics discussed. The trainees gain knowledge on topics such as:

  • construction of the various types of cranes,
  • technical supervision,
  • legislation,
  • conservationist duties,
  • individual maintenance operations,
  • technical documentation,
  • health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Practical classes, on the other hand, are conducted on modern machines currently used by operators and maintainers. The students learn how to inspect the equipment and also have the opportunity to carry out the various tasks involved in the maintenance of mobile cranes themselves.

Purpose of the course

The main aim of both courses is to comprehensively prepare participants for their work as operators or maintainers of mobile cranes. It is important for us to ensure that participants gain detailed knowledge of these machines and know how to operate them. An important objective is also to prepare participants to successfully pass the state examination before the UDT commission.

Final exam

Both courses conclude with participants taking a state examination supervised by a committee from the Office of Technical Inspection. The trainees first take a test part consisting of closed questions and then perform a specific task related to the operation of a mobile crane. If the participant obtains the required number of points from both parts, he or she is awarded a licence to work as an operator or maintainer. These entitlements are valid for 5 years (in Poland and EU countries) and are issued by the Office of Technical Inspection. To renew the entitlement, an application must be submitted to the UDT.

Requirements for trainees

If you would like to take our courses to become a mobile crane operator or maintainer, you must be at least 18 years of age and in good health to work in this position. In addition, those training to become an operator should have a category C driving licence.

Construction and application of mobile cranes

Mobile cranes consist of a crane mounted on a truck chassis or on a mobile chassis. They have a swivelling column and boom, at the end of which there are slings. They can be divided into crawler cranes, truck-mounted cranes, rough-terrain cranes and rough-terrain cranes. With regard to the type of drive, we distinguish between diesel-electric, diesel-hydraulic and diesel-mechanical cranes. They are often used in construction, transport, industry and logistics. They are used for loading, handling and unloading operations, as well as in storage yards and ports. Manufacturers of mobile cranes include: TEREX, Sennebogen, Grove and Liebherr

Courses for other UDT machines

We also offer operator and maintenance licence training:

  • other types of cranes (stationary, rail-mounted, deck-mounted, floating, tower-mounted and high-speed, mobile and portable, rail-mounted and on-board),
  • forklift truck,
  • telescopic loaders,
  • cranes,
  • mobile platforms (including aerial work platforms and scissor lifts).

We also provide fire and health and safety training - both initial and periodic.

In addition, our customers can benefit from services such as:

  • reviews,
  • audits,
  • maintenance,
  • modernisation,
  • stationary and mobile service of UDT machines (forklifts, aerial and scissor lifts, cranes and telehandlers),
  • sale of new and used equipment,
  • the possibility of checking the machine before purchase,
