The course is prepared in accordance with the current UDT requirements. The course we offer enables you to acquire extensive theoretical and practical knowledge, which will later enable you to pass the UDT examination with a positive result and thus become qualified to work as a crane operator.
Course of training
The training is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part takes place either in the classroom or online. During the classes, we want to provide information related to the topics of operation and maintenance of cranes and more.
The class will cover topics such as:
- news on UDT,
- construction of cranes, hoists and hoists,
- control of the crane from all levels offered,
- mechanical and electrical protection,
- duties as a crane operator,
- health and safety rules.
The practical part, on the other hand, consists of exercises on equipment, where the trainees translate their theoretical knowledge into learning practical skills. Practical classes are held on a manoeuvring area. After completing the entire course, our company issues a certificate of completion, and then the trainee takes the state examination before the UDT commission.
Class dates are set individually between the student and the instructor to ensure that each party is satisfied.
What is the crane maintainer and operator exam like?
The exam consists of two parts:
- the theoretical part is carried out in the form of a written test;
- the practical part involves demonstrating one's ability to maintain, operate and manoeuvre a loaded crane. This takes place in a hall equipped with appropriate machinery.
Obtaining a qualification certificate entitles the holder to maintain or operate general-purpose and special-purpose cranes, hoists and hoists. The entitlement is issued for 10 years, renewable, or for five years in the case of special-purpose cranes.
Who can take part in the course?
Any person who:
- has reached the age of 18,
- has a minimum of primary/high school education,
- is certified by a doctor as having no contra-indications to working as a maintenance worker or crane operator.
What is worth knowing about cranes?
Overhead cranes are a type of crane, made up of a bridge that travels on running tracks and a hoist or winch that travels on the tracks of the bridge. This allows the load to be handled efficiently and smoothly, additionally without exposing the worker to an accident. Overhead cranes are equipment mainly used in storage, transport and handling operations.
Overhead cranes are machines that require regular maintenance so that unexpected situations do not occur that affect the quality and timing of the work to be carried out, resulting in a financial loss for the contracting company.

We also offer the sale of new and used UDT machines, as well as the possibility of trying out a machine before purchasing it.
