UDT authorisation - mast lift operator and maintenance training

At the KURSO training centre, we effectively train future mast lift operators and maintainers. We will guide you smoothly through the course and the UDT examination process. You will learn all the conditions for the correct operation and maintenance of your chosen device. Correctly passing the UDT examination qualifies you to receive a certificate from the examination body, which allows you to work with the mast lift.

What does the training look like?

Our long-standing presence on the market has enabled us to develop effective courses for future mast lift operators and maintainers. We provide instruction in training centres throughout Poland or at the customer's premises. Lecture classes can also be held remotely. Training is divided into a theoretical and practical part - analogous to the UDT exam.

In the theoretical part you will learn about, among other things:

  • health and safety regulations,
  • the construction and design of the chosen machine,
  • operator or maintenance duties,
  • keeping the required technical documentation on the machine.

The practical part will prepare you for:

  • handling and operation of the machine,
  • driving and moving the machine on the manoeuvring area,
  • to carry out the tasks assigned by the instructors.

Mast lift operator and maintainer examination

The exam for mast lift operators and maintainers is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. When taking the theory, a written test must be completed. The trainees then take the practical part, where they have to complete exercises on a manoeuvring area, prepared by an external UDT examination board. Both parts verify knowledge of occupational health and safety, machine construction and efficient, safe operation. A positive result of the examination process entitles you to become a mast lift operator or maintenance person.

Validity of mast lift authorisations

UDT authorisations are issued by the Office of Technical Inspection. These certificates are valid in Poland and honoured in the countries of the European Union. The validity of the authorisations is 5 - 10 years from the date of issue of the document.
