Forklift truck maintenance training course
At the KURSO training centre, we specialise in training courses to prepare for UDT and TDT qualifications. Our training programme is based on the knowledge and experience of our experts. We offer courses for operators and maintainers of forklift trucks and other equipment.
The programme consists of a theoretical part, which can also take place remotely, and a practical part - on forklift trucks. We also provide training at the client's premises.

UDT licences for both forklift operators and maintainers are valid for 5 or 10 years. Thereafter, an application must be made for their renewal.
UDT qualifications:
- 5 years - power-operated forklift truck licence with boom and option to lift operator with load;
- 10 years - power-lifting forklift truck qualifications in addition to those listed above.
We train as a machine operator or maintainer from companies such as Toyota, Linde, Still, Jungheinrich, Nissan, Clark, Mitsubishi, Samsung, Yale and many others.

Maintenance requires any piece of handling equipment that moves on wheels. These include, for example, mobile platforms and cranes.
What does the job of a forklift maintenance technician entail?

To participate in the training you must have:
- over 18 years of age,
- a medical certificate authorising the operation of an UTB,
- basic education.
Forklifts

Construction of forklift trucks
Currently, trolleys are manufactured combustion, gas and electric. Their construction consists of:
- lifting system including mast - It reaches up to a dozen metres;
- pitchforkswith which goods on pallets are lifted;
- faceplate with mast and forks attached;
- safety frame;
- control systemwhich is distinguished by the steering wheel and pedals lever;
- a number of systems that are also found on other vehicles, such as the transmission or lifting system.

Questions and answers
How long is the UDT licence for a forklift valid?
In the case of forklift trucks, the licence is valid for 10 or 5 years, after which you need to apply for renewal in good time. For most UDT equipment, the period for which certificates are issued is 5 or 10 years respectively.
What types of lift vehicles are there?
With regard to their construction, we distinguish between system, lift, side-mounted, explosion-proof and gantry forklifts. They are also divided according to the type of drive into: internal combustion engine, electric and manual.
What forklift qualifications can be obtained?
The forklift course provides the opportunity to gain certification for: power-lift trucks and equipment with boom and operator lifted with goods.
Can the course be taken remotely?
Yes, it is possible to do the theoretical part of the course remotely. We can also carry out the practical part at the client's premises, in the case of a closed group.
